The Passing Of Dark Wolf
by Karuthma Shey » Sun Jan 04, 2009 8:56 pm
This is in memory of my younger brother William Hays II also known as Dark Wolf. He died last week from complications with leukemia. He was a great man and had many friends here as I do. I just figured I would let you guys know about his passing.

I'm so sorry to hear of this dreadful news. I didn't know him personally or as an aquaintance, but I've heard many of my friends speaking nothing but good things about him. Another Evernight family member passes. This is truly a sad time. Rest in peace, Dark Wolf. You will be sorely missed.

A few days ago I sent Dark Wolf an e-mail to see if he wanted to return to the game; I did not know about his leukemia. Sorry to hear this. Rest in peace Dark Wolf...
He was the first one to ever respond to one of my RP-posts, If I remember correctly, he did so by throwing me out of some alehouse, after calling him "Doggeh!". Ah yes...he will be missed.

DW was one of my oldest friends here on evernight, if not the oldest friends I have here. We co-GMed many a guild, and played a wicked game of StarCraft together.
Even with his battle against leukemia over the past few years, I hoped to never see this thread.
Really don't know what to say....
Rest in peace, mate.

This is a Sad day indeed to lose such fine person as DW. I enjoy the conversations we had when he was playing the game and being in the same guilds.
May he rest in peace.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.
