My attack sucked with the backlashes. I burned his temples to the ground but still at that size any backlash at all hurts. After the third one I couldn't pl anymore

All in all I destroyed about 13k+ of his buildings and about 1k of mine, lol.

some jerk keeps raiding my treasure, during, before, and after my wars. this is ridiculous trying to play this game with one hand tied behind my back. i can't even hold onto a measly 30 mill to prep for my wars, and I'm keeping 12k+ scum.

i took off a couple of ages out of irritation that my kingdom could be sorc/scum killed in one set of turns, and there was nothing that I could do about it.

i came back, and now i'm finding it unplayable again with constant activity in my kingsom.

darnivan - the acres are all gone. i don't like being pl'd and it's a risk that you take when you start with sorc.

i don't think that I'll be playing anymore.

Downsizing is certainly your choice and I knew it was highly likely (most people downsize) but i'm not looking for more land to downsize anyway. If I get too big I can't war anymore.

I logged in today to find most of my land taken. My other foe had declared peace sometime during my encamp, and between sleep and then, I've been utterly destroyed.

I'm pretty sure the initial stats, networth wise, are more in Seska's favour, given the immense amount of open land I had from my last war, but this is already over, not like it mattered. Can't hire enough to break him, can't sorc him, can't scum him.

Starting stats

840k (me) vs 900k+ (her) (don't remember exactly what it was before the scout effect, like 950k I think)
~33K acres (me) vs ~42k acres (her)

Le Countess had been semi-fighting "Elvis" for the last week, but as she has said Elvis has been fighting a war he couldn't win and in effect was feeding her thousand and thousands of acres. He declared on someone else a bit ago but he did that before during their war to get land to try to fight more so I don't know if he is still fighting or not.

Anyway, she was getting far to big to handle just sitting and watching a one sided war. Hopefully Elvis really is done trying to fight with his declaration earlier.

First strike went ok, I had a large war chest to fund my attack with so I could afford to use overwhelming force with max offensive troops. Still, have to be careful around vampire forts but I wore them down pretty thoroughly and got in.

um, darv i play a gobbie, and the only ones i have to worry about scummin me is a vamp.

and right now is the vamps that can fort more than 15k scumm......

Which is any vamp with like 12k acres. Don't forget human scum is just as good and there are a couple of them around. Though only 1 not of your faith that could possibly be high enough to scum you.

(btw, by pointing out you have that much scum you're saying your defenses as a goblin must be pretty weak also and if someone wants your land it is for the taking, sure you can have some defensive troops but not enough to hold out a full scale attack with how much space goblin scum takes up.)
