possibly the best game to ever grace canon, imo, was lgs ;P yes, better than castaway!
also the game with the fewest guild loyalties, so things were shaken up in that game.
i was in TGA (the grey alliance... not to be confused with the grand adepts, a guild gmed by ba'ashkai) gmed by confed, then got pulled into agming warriors of light for 2 ages. that was nuts. both ages i died on the first day of the age. in the second age we had an ooc spy who passed out my number, since i had used a decidedly different leadername and kingdom name (leadername, i remember, was 'Peter').
after that, i created the first guild i ever made, NX (had taken over as gm of three other guilds, but this one was the first one i ever made). got to handpick all 40 members. 90% strike attendence every night for about 2 weeks. 2 3-hour strikes per night. took up a lot of time, but it was fun. everyone except steven made their leadername/kingdom name 'NX' so that it was impossible to tell who was who. i actually didn't die until about 2.5 weeks into the game. it was unfortunate, because we didn't know that turns/hit capped out at 6/turns for war, otherwise we would never have been dsing our land like we did when we were hitting FoM.
that was the last age of lgs ever, but it was hella fun. i remember fighting serpents (where's adder at these days, anyway?), IN (sart's guild), WOLF... good times, good times.
on a tagent, anyone remember last faith standing? exile organized most of the isonian faith into a killing machine. we pwnd the other two faiths hands down because of the level of organization that we had.
