Post The injust nature of a hegemon (Fides/Raven vs. OAFS)
OOC: Suits you that you didn't bother RPing this foul hit. Summary: 20 huge realms vs. 30 mid-sized realms.

Elemantum ab Fides was at it again. Once again they had disturbed the harmony in the lands of the Order of Almighty Fishingrods. The soldiers of Fides had killed the men, women and children who were not prepared to wage war against an enemy with more money, land and soldiers.

Nagash shook his head. So the invasion of his lands by one of the princes was not mistake after all. It was a prelude for the atrocity that would follow.
Another sign that Fides was not worth to be the hegemon of Tonan.

When would this end? The hegemony of Isonia was challenged by many events. From sandstorms to the disappearance of the gods. They had withstood all of these events. It took the force of the Natives to end their hegemony.

Gorf, where are you now?

OOC: Doesn't surprise me, they just won in a war to us. So they decide to attack us knowing very well we had no chance at beating them since they just destroyed us. VERY BRAVE, I applaud your courage at beating a dead horse.

The wolf was furious now, he was all for chaos and attacks and all the other fun things that came with war. He believed in honor also though.

"Let me get this straight. They just beat us in a controversial war, we said whatever and took it right?"

"Yes M'lord"

"So instead of just going through and hitting someone else, like honor dictates, they decide to get some friends and come after us AGAIN?"

"Yes M'lord"

With that the room went silent and DarkWolf just stared in disbelief. Everyone had wondered why he promoted Isonia, usually they had more honor than this atleast. Yes there were strikes he had not participated or agreed in, but as usual they would wait and never do these things. Plus they forced honor. If anyone pulled this they would be punished, but now...now no one can stop dishonor of Fides or anyone else for that matter. He could only wonder why only Isonia was effected by the Natives and their private wars, when would the rest feel them? Or would they?

OOC: Is it any different than when OAF's down hit on Dark two times in a row?

::Sitting in my war room getting reports in from the front. My armys are doing well destroying the heathens of MoS. I wonder what is happening in the land of the OAF's. We considered attacking them but instead settled a score with MoS::

"Scribe, scribe whats going on in the land of the OAF's I want to know if they plan on taking up arms in defence of MoS against us?"

~No sir, I doubt that OAF's will be striking Dark any time soon. They have been attacked by Fides I don't think that the Isonians will win this war they don't have much of a chance~

::I let out a small laugh::

"Yeah they are dead in the water just like we were when they picked on us, I'm glad the tables are turned now"

OOC: This isn't guilds, boys. Take your OOC insults to Q.

They didn't know her, and she knew virtually nothing of them. It was a relationship that stood on shakey ground to say the least, but it didn't apear to be of concern to either of the groups. On one of the first meatings with those that she would call freind, she learned of injustice, and death. She learned of those that danced silently in the blood of those they slain under the cover of night.

"But, what's their motivation?" The naive witch inquired with a puzzled look about her. Those she asked seemd just as puzzled as she was, and it took a few minutes to realise that they were wondring how she could be so dumb. "Well, because we beat them in war, and they saught out revenge of the most vile sort." Sarasvati just nodded as she silently pondered what would posses someone to behave this way. They must be mentally incompetant or something.

They didn't really need her help for they were stronger than she was, and had no need for magics or spells to seek out justice. But this was one that she wanted to participate in, for the very nature of it all was one that made her stomach churn.

It would be their first war, and though her very respect for life and nature led her to be against war, justice for uncalled for deaths was something worth fighting for.

The Raven circled overhead, and she drew strength from it's grace and ability to survive.

She staired forward, not sure if she had the stomach for this sort of thing. It seams she had little choice but to support her circle. Though all the same there was one home in her mind....to prove to herself that she could do this. Nothing was going to stop that which had allready begin.

It didn't matter that she was a stranger to most, only that in time this war would end with a little recongition. Not that she sought such a thing, but nothing is impossible when you focus your mind on it.

hungryman had seen this kind of behaviour before. vultures as they were, unable to do anything more than peck at the corpses of the dead, they were unable to do anything more than get others to do the dirty work for them - and pick up the pieces afterwards.

this was the reality for those of the Order of Almighty Fishing Rods.

caught recently, slaughtering the peasants of Elementum ab Fides after the other, more successful covert "peasant-reduction operations" of Sekhet Aaru, the Order deserved nothing better, hungryman noted.

henmaster! he called out. send ten chickens to the vultures! but not a chicken more!

he wondered if the vultures, OAFS, would kill amongst each other for the meager gift of ten whole chickens - alive, no less!

indeed, history showed they would.

WHAT?!?!? Surely you say these things to fool me.

This was my reaction when I heard of the realms of Fides striking down upon The Almighty Order. Claims were made of the slaughter of innocent peasents, the poisoning of rivers, the burning of fields and temples yet no proof was shown. Simple heresay was all it was based on.

Heretics! These heathens have no honor, they hide themselves behind a kingdom constructed of lies and send their best cowards onto the field of battle. Pathetic!

The anger upon my face was evident. The sweat streaming from my brow as I heard more tales from this trail of destruction wrought by these childish warmongers. But it was far from over, there was more that was to be heard. Accusations of murder and underhanded deeds were circulating rapidily through the Isle. What I found most insulting was that these accusations were directed at the Sekhet-Aaru.

Send the word out to every kingdom on the Isle. Send in to the followers of Isonia, send it to the heathens of Foret, send to the heretics of Darden, send it everyone who whose heart beats. Tell them, the blasphemer who spreads these lies has a bounty on his head. All the gold them and their men can carry for the name of the one who speaks such untruths of the Sekhet-Aaru. He will pay with his soul for ever letting the name of Sekhet-Aaru escape his lips.

With that, I set out to the cave to await word from my scouts. A little peace with my Queen to clear my mind. She will tell me what is to come of this. She will set my mind at ease.

The Wolven would sit for moments almost perplexed before he'd stand and slam his hand down on the table with maps. They wanted a war, the same target twice? They even had the nerve to bring a friend along?

"This will be the battle to show them. If we can not kill Fides, let us kill who we can. We will not sit idely by and let them take our land, they want it they'll have to earn it damnit."

"M'lord?"

"Prepare the catapaults, we will ready them to do something. As well put all patrols on full mobilization. There may not be much left but damnit we will die with honor. I want the men to see their families, it will give them more to fight for knowing Fides comes to destroy everything they love. Next fortify the east walls, enlist the peasents if you have to but rebuild it quickly. Then notify my sorceres to be prepared, we could be attacked any day and their faith to Isonia is necessary to prevent them. Have all the outposts told to notify us at once if any patrols are spotted within the lands, hell have them report if they feel someone's eyes on them. We live or die, but now we take someone with us. Maybe if the cost is great on their part they'll learn their lesson."

With that he'd burst from the room, almost in a haze he'd be giving orders and having his patrols and supplements ready for action.

It had happened. The vast realm of Regicider was destroyed by a force yet unknown. Nagash was fairly sure it were the Natives who were behind it. Now finally the untouchable Regicider could no longer protect his guild. Elementum ab Fides was still bigger then the Order of almighty Fishingrods, but at the very least the Order stood a chance again.

Blood would flow again. But no longer would it be Isonian blood. The Foretians would fall as well now. To celebrate the fall of Regicider, Nagash mustered his priests and shot a fireball and a cyclone or two in the direction of Grunt's realm.

" Gorf, if this was you... Thanks.... "

Regicider stood up on the platform. He sigh as he witness his troops start to drop dead one by one. He knew that the time has come.

"He shouted out to his mens. In front of you is the source of supernatural power thats killing us. Let us die in the battlefield."

Horns were sounded, the men charged towards into their doom.

Darkness covered the troops and they were all dead.

Dead bodies were everywhere, suddenly someone stood up.

It was regicider. He managed to stay alive and made his way back to fides stronghold.

The first report had come in. Guidion had been able to take one third of Grunt's estates. Now that Regicider wasn't there to protect his borders any longer, Grunt could be attacked by more then sorcery only.

It was a matter of time until the still-resisting parts of Grunt's land would fall too. And then the next realm of Elementum ab Fides would be under attack. One by one they would fall. And in the midst of the madness, Nagash would seek the perfect view.

Isonia would stand proud.

He watched and listened as if standing next to the man as he shouted and pointed in the direction of a force well beyond that of any of the Isle could muster. Unable by unseen forces and laws of non interference to aid or to cry warning of what may be foul them in their venture. All he could do was observe, he moved over the field and watched as tens of thousands of warriors fell in their ranks.
Soon a wall of dead lay spread across the field, men had to walk over those already dead to only drop themselves a footfall later in a vain attempt to challenge that which was killing them. It was at this invisible line he saw him stand up from amongst the untold dead, he went to reach for him as the man stumbled and slipped over the dead, but found he could not help and watched as he passed right thru him. The man paused momentarily but then continued his trek back to his stronghold.

Isonia's purse or the use of her womenhood for the night had made a pack with one of two forces capable of defeating the legions of Fides combined, he did not see the red eyed legions of the prophet so it left only one other. Now the precedent had been set by their involvement, it would spread to every isle, nook and cranny.

"The Natives serve Isonia and not the Isle's."

As he flew over the scene of carnage he spotted a lone figure watching the field from an advantagious and safe spot and knew who it was instantly. He encircled the pathetic creature as it gloated over it's so called mighty victory, his voice was a whisper of wind as it laughed in the ear of the mighty warrior of Isonia.

A smile would beset the wolven as he read the report, in fact he read it two or three times before setting it down.

"So the natives finally hurt someone other than Isonia? Looks like the God's have a plan for us, doesn't it? I bet right now Fides is thinking they're being picked on..Shame they can't remember the ten or fifteen of us Isonians who were destroyed then."

He'd shrug and laugh some more.

"Without the protection of the king, we might actually win this. Not that I expect we shall come out on top, but we atleast have a shot now!"

With that DarkWolf dispatched his troops to the borders again, this time he sent orders for reforting certain areas and preparing for the extra tensions he thought might occur.

regicider finally reach back to the stonghold.

He looked around from his modest tiny shack. This is all he had left.

The tiny band of troops gathered together.

"It doesnt matter. We can still fight! despite our tiny size now. " proclamied regicider.

The troops started to get busy and prepare for war.

Droevig was unaware if any Fides were actually following through with this war.

She had done what she could with a small army, and tried to break those kingdoms that lay ontop of her. She would never have great pride in a large kill, but she would still have wine over the rubble.

Peace was not an option... Death was.

It had been a long, depressing ride.
First he had traveled across the remnant of Steven's kingdom. The armies of the Order had overrun it and the stench of death was still there.

He then travelled across many other kingdoms. Of the Order and the Fides alike. Everywhere corpses lay in the villages. Funeral pyres were set up nigh everywhere where wood could be found. If there was no wood, there were graves, or ships that brought the corpses to the oceans.

So much death. And why? Because of wrong accusations. Greed. Anger. Jealousy.

Crossing the small remains of what once were the outskirts of DarkWolf's vast and proud realm, Nagash entered the lands of Dux.
The current king of Tonan. When he met Dux, he offered him cessation of all hostilities. Dux agreed. He was tired of the endless slaughter as well.
Both the Order of Almighty Fishingrods and the Elementum ab Fides had fought hard this war. Both had lost much more than they gained. And in the mean time te Dardenites were amassing their armies.

As he entered DarkWolf's realm once again, he stopped at a village.

" Let it be known: we are now at peace with the Elementum ab Fides. "
