This Tavern is for members of the Unholy Darkness only. If you are of the Darden faith you can if you dare stop in for a visit but there is no guarantee that you will leave with your life. If you are not of the Darden faith don't even bother showing up your throat will be cut and body discarded before you are given a chance to drink with us.

In the dodgy part of the city where the less than noble live and steal there is a dirty dark corner where a Tavern is located. This is the Tavern of the Unholy Darkness. The street lamps in this area of the city are always dark and if you have the guts to go here then you have to be able to defend yourself cause just getting into the Tavern can be a dangerous feat. Once entering the Tavern the danger to one's self only increases.

If you can survive getting by the thieves, murderers, and various other low life's that hang out outside and around the Tavern, and you make it in then you will be drinking with the most dangerous of all the thieves, murderers, and other low life's. If you are worthy then this Tavern can be very good to you...getting you drunk, laid, and maybe making a profit by dealing with some of the other Tavern patrons. If you are not worth you will be dead before you finish your first drink

Darden I need a drink!

I make my way out of my warm house and I walk out into the cold and dark making my way toward the Tavern. I rap my long coat around my body tightly both hands in my pockets...both hands holding daggers. I pass by the thieves waiting in the shadows for there next victim some of who I myself have taught...I see the mercenaries waiting for someone to pay them gold for someone's blood...I pass the pimps and their women some I know personally. And finally I make it to the Tavern doors. No one messed with me tonight but it is not always that way. I am known in these parts as someone not the mess with but there is always some young punk wanting to prove himself that will try his luck and I have to send him to an early grave.

But so goes our life, none of us are expected to live a long life. We are the fallen from Light. Once we stood on top of the Isle of Maxim the largest and strongest of everyone the light would always shine on our kingdoms and our faces. But the evil inside us has consumed us and we have fallen from the Light into the Darkness. Now we only come out under the glare of the moon. We are still as strong as ever but we have embraced our evil side and now we thrive in the shadows.

I look around the Tavern...It is dark in here but there are some lamps burning around the place. Its probably good that it isn't lit well, the place hasn't been cleaned since it was made the floor is stained with the blood of those not worthy. There are dark corners and booths for the ladies of the night to do their business and for less than honorable transactions to be made. There is an upstairs where rooms can be rented by the hour if needed. I don't talk to anyone sitting around in here tonight and just make my way to the long dirty bar. I take a seat and motion to the bartender

Ale

::Walking through the back alley ways making my way to the Tavern I try not to be noticed by the street vermin. Unfortunately for some young punk wannabe killer I was noticed. He came up behind me hard and fast with his knife already out...his plan was to probably stab me in the back but as he came close I spun away toward his knife hand grabbing it as I turned. It only took a second and now I was to his side holding his knife hand and taking him to the ground. I quickly break his arm and take his knife::

"To slow kid too bad you won't live to get faster"

::I then cut the kids throat and leave my initials on his forehead. I check his pockets and find some coins. This will pay for my drinks tonight. I leave the body and finally make it to the tavern with no other incidents. I enter the tavern and see all my low life friends. I make my way to the bar and take a seat next to Puck. I wave to the bartender...he knows what to get me::

"So how ya been Pucky boy"

I watch as Ford enters. Ah Ford such a funny fellow. Most people think he is a fool...and well he very well may be. But he is also one of the best warriors of these lands. He has killed many, and will kill many more since the lands of the Dark are at war again

"How ya doing good buddy it has been a long time. Last I heard you have left the Isle in search of peace, wine, and women"

I grab my ale and start drinking it waiting for Ford to reply. I wonder if anyone else will join us in the tavern for a round of drinks and tales of battle

::I take a sip of my ale. I give old Puck a big smile and a slap on his back::

"Good buddy, Yeah I left the Isle for a bit. I had to leave this place I was getting so bored. Same old, same old, I needed something fresh something new. I needed a girlfriend. And you want to know what I found out?"

::I took a another sip of my ale::

"I found out that no matter where I go, no women like me. I've traveled far and wide to everywhere I could find and I couldn't find one women that wanted me...unless I paid her. And then I found myself back here. I didn't plan on coming back to this Isle it just happened"

::I take another sip of ale::

Ahhhh!

This distance sound of someone screaming awakens me. I stand to my feet to stretch from mys short rest. Placing the dark cloak over my back and hood upon my head I swiftly pass through the door of my home and head for the shadows.

Hey you! I think you just made a wrong turn.

A large bulky figure says as I turn the corner near the local tavern.

Take another step and your blood will cover these grounds.

A hand grabs my shoulder, and I am forced to reverse my body torward him and his arm away from him. *crack* I break his forearm, kick his feet out from under him and continue on my way without saying a word. I round one more corner and enter the tavern. On my way to a small table near the bar I see no familiar faces and speak to noone.

I'll have an ale or two...

I say to the lady taking my drink order.

::Someone new enters the tavern. I take a look but I don't want to stare or even make it seem as though I have seen them. Some people are very keen on not being seen by others. But this is Magik, I know him well. I wonder if he had any problems coming here, the riff-raff can get ugly as the night gets old::


"Give me another ale"

::When the barmaid comes over I grab her hand::

"That man in the corner, that just ordered an ale. His drinks are free, I'll pay for them, thank you beautiful"

::I go back to drinking my ale::

As the barmaid returns with my ale, she informs me that all my drinks have been paid for. She begins to turn away, but quickly I stop her and ask who was kind enough to purchase my drinks.
That man there...
She states pointing her finger to a familiar face. It is Ford. I stand to my feet and tell the lady to stsart bringing my drinks to the seat next to Ford. I approach Ford and an unfamiliar character.
Care if I take this seat to myslef?

::Magik comes over and askeds if he could take the seat next to mine. I turn to him with a smile::

"If I didn't want ya come sit with me instead of buying your ale's I would have slit your throat. Oh course you can sit with me"

::I pull the chair next to me out for Magik to have. I then turn to Puck and make a waving motion towards him::

"Puck this is Magik, Magik this is Puck"

::I take another sip of my ale. Introductions always make me thirsty::

"And now that everyone knows everyone we can all get drunk, first one to puke loses"

The seat is appreciated! And I am glad you would choose to buy me drink instead of slitting my throat. You can save that energy for the sorry scum that try to steal from you on the way home. I know its very rare to not be bothered on the way to yout destination here.

I drink down the rest of my current ale. And swifty ask for another.

Ale!

And now i turn back to Ford and Puck.

It is nice to meet you Puck. So fellas any problems making to the tavern peaceful tonight?

I turn to Magik. I'm sure I have seen him before although I don't think we really have ever met. When Ford gives out the introductions I give Magik a nod and a smile. He seems like a good enough bloke and if he is a member of the Darkness and a friend of Ford's then he is a friend of mine

Hello Magik, No problems on my end coming here tonight

I finish my mug of ale and slam it down on the table. Which is my way of telling the barkeep I need a refill without actually saying anything to him

Yeah I'm a regular at this here tavern and well this part of the Isle in general. So I had to kill a few pimps out in the middle of the street but most of these lowlifes know not to mess with me.

I slap Ford on the back. Not hard enough to hurt him but hard enough to make him spill his ale down the front of his shirt

Now this sorry sack, he has to kill at least five maybe six people to get here everynight. People know he's a killer but look at him............just look at him he doesn't look much like a killer he looks like........he looks like a wuss

::When Puck slaps me on the back I was in mid-sip of my ale. I ended up spilling most of what was left of my ale down the front of my shirt. I place my mug down gently on the table and turn towards Puck::

"Was that really necessary"

::I stand up and wipe the front of my shirt letting it drip onto the floor and getting rid of the little puddles of ale caught in my pocket. I then sit back down and look over at Magik::

"Yeah actually I did run into a slight...."

::I give a snear at Puck::

"Very slight attack. Some stupid kid wanted to make a name for himself I guess and pulled a knife on me. I killed him out of principle"

::I wave my hand over at the barkeep and towards my shirt and puddle of ale on the floor. Hopefully he will realize that this means I need another ale and I also need a towel to clean up this mess::

Trying not to laugh at the catastrophy, I slip and snicker. I straighted right back up.

Yeah i kinda ran into a heathen on the way, but he was nothing but a lazy wanna be. I mean look at my boots, not even one drop of blood. He was an easy kill.

I take a huge chug of the ale left in the bottom and holler for another round for the three of us.

Oh and Puck i know what you mean about Ford...

I look at Ford and make a face letting him know I am only joking...

::I just turn to Lord Magik and stare at him. With my jaw wide open::

"What is it did I miss the scribe? When did today become pick on Ford day, HUH"

::I grab my new full mug of ale and start drinking from it::

"So guys what ya want to do, its still early in the night, we have no war plans, no women to go home to....So what are we going to do"

::I lean back in my chair. The two legs of my chair closest to the table are no longer on the floor. I kick my legs up on the table to steady myself. Leaning back I look at my two friends as I take another sip of ale. I wonder what we are going to do, I'm bored::

As I enter the Tavern of the darkness, I was a new member amongst them. Looking at the faces of the strong warriors of darden. I knew I have choosen my allies well. Bringing with my sword and sheild and nothing more I ready to charge in to battle with the best of their sorcorors and theives to aid me. To die amongst them would be a sweet death.

As I sit and listen to Ford as he talks about his boredness and what we need to do, I notice a new face enter. I stop Ford and his rambling and ask if he knew who it was.

Ford, you know that character? I've never seen him.

Then I motion to the barmaid for another drink, wondering when im going to feel any effects of all the ale ive drank. I return attention to Ford and begin to talk.

Yeah I agree I am bored sitting here lets go dominate something...

::I look over at the new face that enters the Tavern. I've never seen him before. Must be a rookie. I take a good look at him. He seems fit enough to take care of himself. It looks like he brought his war shield with him...to the bar. I give Magik a nudge::

"Hey lets have some fun with the new guy"

::I grab Pucks untouched ale and I pour a thing of hot sauce in it. I give a wink at Puck::

"Order yourself a new ale Puck this ones for our new friend"

::I stand up and wave at the new guy to come over to our table::

"Hey, hey welcome to the Tavern for the loyal members of the Darkness. Here come sit with us, pull up a chair the first round is on us"

I look at Ford and snicker, and look at the new guy with a welcoming face telling him to step over.

C'mon over new guy, welcome to the tavern. Take a seat make your self at home. Have a ale on us.

I pull out a chair near the bar and offer it to the new guy. Then I order me, Puck and Ford a new ale.

Gimme three ales asap!

(on his journy over he smells the blood of 3 thieves waiting for him in a nearby bush.)

I walked right up to it and said.
*in a vampiresh way*

you know your not fooling anyone.
*immeditly the 3 thieves jump out and try to rush him holding daggers and one of them with a stake.

I immeditly break the necks of 2 of the thieves and the other one plunges the stake into my stomace.

*in pain i said: this is my heart and this is my stomace Got it (seeming very annoyed.) draws his sword and kills the *not to smart thief*

as i walk into the tavern a smell rotten fleash is appernt.
i sit by the bar and spy 2 men

* i saw to the bartender *

Whiskey and make it snappy.
(wraps his cloak over his bleeding stomace) and acts like nuthing happend)

(heals after 3 days of no responce)

*looks at the 2 men frozen and not moving*

Youyue pulls out a spoon and taps it over puck and fords faces
*ding ding ding*

looks in astonishment as this unknown being is poking on my fellow guildmates...

[grasps small dagger attatched at belt and approach...]

Excuse me, who are you and what are you doing?

looks back at Ford and Puck awaiting them to say something to this dark fellow...

*runs back into the tavern half burnt and wonded.*

(faints due to loss of blood)




aa-t leeast they di-ddnt reach the tavern.....

(struggles to get to the top of the stairs behind the bar table)

*opens door and faints in one of the rooms*

::After getting hit in the head I finally wake up. I have this great ability of falling asleep with my eyes open it helps keep people from messing with me when I pass out. It didn't work this time since I still got hit in the head::

"I think I had too much to drink"

::My head falls down onto the table::

"Oohhh shit that hurt"

::I lift my head up rubbing it with both of my hands::

"OK that hurt I which means I can start drinking again"

::I look around the tavern things look almost the same as when I passed out. I look over to Magik::

"What the hell did I miss and who hit me on the head"

turns to Ford still confused on what has been happneing

[places dagger back in holster]

Ford, I have no idea what is goin on...I know nothing of this fellow whom hit you in while your nap...

turns to the unknown

Looks to see if Puck has awakened yet?

::Puck still sleeping soundly doesn't move except to wipe some drool from his face every now and then. The doors to the Tavern slap open and standing in the door way is none other thans Pucks elven girlfriend. She isn't the best looking elf but neither is Puck. She scan's the tavern until she sees Puck head down in his own puddle of drool. She quickly goes over behind him and picks him up out of his seat and throws him over her shoulder. With this Puck finally wakes up::

"What the bloody hell is going on here"

::I quickly realize I'm being carried away by my woman.......yet again::

"Damn it woman I told you not to bother me in friend of my friends"

::I start punching and kicking but it does no good. She quickly hauls Puck kicking and screaming and punching out of the tavern and all falls back to silence::

::I watch as Puck gets hauled out of the tavern kicking and screaming. I look over at Magik::

"I would like to say, you don't see that everday..........but I see it often enough were I can't use that saying"

::I lean back in my chair kicking it up on just two legs and I let out a good laugh::

"That happens to him like once a week at least its great"

::Then I remember that I was upset about being awaken myself from a hit to the head. I have such an attention disorder. I put my feet back down onto the floor and by doing so the legs of my chair also all come down too::

"Now lets have a look around for this mystery person"

::I stand up and look around the tavern, no one makes eye contact except for Magik and the other people in the tavern are those that I have seen before and know that they wouldn't do anything like that. The person had to go upstairs. With a wave of my arm I tell Magik to follow me. I don't pull out any weapon but I do head up the stairs towards the bedrooms noticing the blood on the stairs as I go up::
