Follow the link, complete both sections and send in your answers to alhana_nicessus@hotmail.com

Remember!! The lowest score is automatically removed!! There will be NO vote this time.

Work hard and be devious!! *muhahahhaa*

As always, use this thread to moan and groan, I am sure Sparta will have pity and come by with some Advil sooner or later :P

9. May 7th 1945
10. July 16th 1945

Bonus: The exact length of a P-51s ammo belts for the wing guns was 27 feet or “9 Yards”. So in combat when attacking ground or sea targets it was common to hear the pilots exclaim, “Give em the Whole 9 Yards!”.

*giggle* Oh yeah, I guess you wanna know who won??

Here is everyones answers they sent in....

RedBaron

WWII Trivia:
1. December 10th, 1941

X2. March 20th, 1945
3. April 28th, 1945

X4. June 1st, 1943
X5. January 21st, 1942
6. September 25th, 1943
7. April 22nd, 1944
8. November 12th, 1944
9. Rheims, France 0241 hrs May 7th, 1945
10. July 16, 1945 - At 5:29:45 a.m.
Bonus: Allied pilots in the Pacific, when their planes were first loaded with
.50 cal ammo the belts of ammo were 27 feet long, 9 yards. If a pilot
expended all his ammo into a target, that target got "the whole 9 yards."

Alhana's Music:

15. Red Hot Chili Peppers - "By the Way"

That's the best I'm gonna do with the music.... I have trouble enough
figuring out
-whole- songs....

Posting name: nk1415

Sparta's bit:

1. December 10th 1941.

X2. 15th March 1945.
3. April 28th 1945.

X4. November 15th 1943.
X5. February 4th 1941.
6. Setpember 25th 1943.
7. April 22nd 1942.
8. November 12th 1944.
9. May 7th 1945.
10. July 16th 1945.

Bonus: The term "the whole nine yards" stems from the
length of the .50 cal bullets used in US fighters.
When laid out on the ground prior to loading, the ammo
chains were 27 feet in length. Hence, if a pilot
expended all his ammunition on one target, he was said
to have given it "the whole nine yards".

Alahana's bit:
I suck at music, so I've no idea. Too many songs in
too little space >.<

Oh sweet! It's closer than you think..... Alhana, you can't add, 35 + 15 is 50 last I went to school. So nk1415 has 50 points, meaning the Chili Peppers saved my ass with 3 very important points!

Bring on Lak..... it's pretty ironic that it's us two to the last, since Lak asked me to play.... then we ended up on the same tribe... and here we are now! Let's see what you got you nutty Scot!

Bah Lak should have got 9 of those WW2 questions right damn it :-p

2nd Air Tac was formed on June the 1st and I stand by that being as I am the person who looked up the damn answers for her :-p

However I did mess up the Msus one so fair play to that... although Rommel did capture Msus in April of 1941 as well I found a little map which showed his push on Torbek in 41 and fuel dumps at msus were captured in that April :-p

ANyway.. enough of my ww2 fun.. good luck to Lak and RB now... you guys will need it

Congrats to Lak and Redbaron! I never anticipated getting even this far considering the large number of interesting (and in some cases outright backstabbing) times I've had.

Thanks for the very fun game, and good luck to both the finalists! :)
