I played in TGH's last age here, and I know that Grunt and Tremordred are still around and active. Wretch was around a matter of months ago, and might still monitor the boards - I guess we'll find out here :)

Kinda kewl you made this thread .
I was just speaking with Zann a couple days ago in that it would be a good thing to see TGH up and going. =]

/I served a couple ages there in TGH and it was a very entertaining guild to be in./
Ferocious if they chose to be..very much old school but adaptable as well.

Not that anyone cares, but i recruited 3 original age members out of that guild into one i ran in, in another game.
Maybe three of the most well-rounded players i've served with.
That is The Horde.

I would have to say that all of the Horde leaders carried on in fine bloodthristy fashion against the heathen dogs. No mercy asked for and none given.

I'd have to agree with the Dragon.

How can you choose between Radic's tactical brutality, Snake's fanatical devotion to quality RP, Moose's enthusiasm, Zann's resolve, and Fist's pure Swedish coolness?

I'd love to play with all those guys again, they and many others made this game a real pleasure to participate in.

We had so many skilled folks on the team over the years who it was a real pleasure to play with.

Too bad that jobs, mortgages, families, and all the other trappings of real life make it hard to make time for the war now.

Still, the dream that was The Golden Horde remains a fond memory. For most of her history, TGH was as great and efficient a war machine as the game has had.

I'll add an unsung hero vote for Tutai, whose skill with flights was totally indispensible. He may not have GMed officially, but without what he was doing, the challenging job of GMing TGH would have been much harder.

Thanks again, fellow Horde members.

I have many found memories of TGH. Maybe someday the horde will again bring terror to the heathens.

Well doesn't look like this thread's been active for awhile, but I just had to post. I wasn't in TGH for long, but the time I spent in it was definately memorable.

Which is why once I found this place again I just had to sign up, I was only just getting started when things in the old game seemed to be crumbling. It was a crazy time in my life, but a very important one so even my little time in TGH was important to me.

That's enough of the wishie washie stuff from a minor member, from what I've still got looks like I went by Heidi (Hiedi?) though my other names include Vandala, Perna, and Mysta. I think it would be great to see the Horde up again, will definately keep my eyes open for it if it does happen.

Vandala sighting! Yay!
Hope things are well with you, been wondering how you were.

Some of us are still fighting for Leto, though the likelihood of TGH rising again anytime soon is probably low.

Things are going well for me still fighting the good fight for Leto from my own little kingdom ^_^

It was kinda crazy for me for awhile, but now I have a map, a path, and a destination. Only took me six years to ask directions ::laughs:: good thing I'm not male or I might have been lost forever :P

It might be low, but I'll keep dreaming anyways.

I was in tgh for about 4 ages. I remember zann, snake, radic but i dont even remember a member named iron fist

I was playing in monarchy in another guild when mad moose was gm and i remmeber him as a member in canon. But I dont remember that other name at all.

I dig all of you and am glad to hear youre still around, and if you are into it go for it. I doubt Ill ever play again but its not because it wasnt cool. I do believe tgh was revived about 4 or 5 times just in the years i played. It was different faiths it was everything. It will be revived surely.

Sweet thats what I get for not checking the recruit threads out of all TGH was the most impressive guilds I have been in and respected as turnout was always good and a fearful sight. I was mainly here under The Big Mad Moose man before I went into the Marines. and quit playing.

I just love reviving dead threads from an account with no posts..

Amb wrote: I might even be able to get sacredknight's butt back here too

I don't actually think anyone in TGH knew me as Sacredknight, Amb. Unless they had me on AIM. They probably all knew me as "Ben" because "Beniam" would have taken three more characters to type and isn't really my name anyway.

At any rate the entity to whom she was referring still exists in some capacity. It has been forever and a day since I played Monarchy/Canon though. Real life (and World of Warcraft) seems to eat up a lot of my time.

It was cool to find that my TGH message board username still exists though. Kind of nostalgic.

I'm rambling so I'm gone.

Oh yeah, hey everyone!
