I went through a high risk pregnancy with my wife, it was not fun. Just hang in there man and do everything they tell you to, even though for you it will mostly be just trying to be there for her.

It's hard.

my wife and the babies are doing well. She was having a lot of braxton hicks(sp) contractions and was in some pain so she was really worried which in turn worried me. I work a few hours away and felt pretty helpless, but we got to the doctor and everything checked out all right. Shes just been pushing herself too hard and needs to relax. Relax the way the doctor wants her too and not the way she wants too.

I am sorry for not telling more people, the more I think of the more I wish I had. We just had such problems getting pregnant, I feel like if I talk about it to much it will all come to an end. Once there here, well they can't take them back. We have 4 weeks from today, though as of today if they babies decide to come they are coming. I can't say enough but thank you.

So many things to stress about during a pregnancy, the more you look the moe you'll find. 4 weeks is short time man, if they come now they'll be great anyway!

Our twins were born about a month before their scheduled C-section date because of my wife's rising BP. After several anxious trips to the hospital to monitor it and a few weeks of bedrest, her BP was staying high. By your wife truely taking it easy, and it looks like you have a good handle on monitoring everything, you should be able to get a couple more weeks. But even if they came now...I'm guessing your Dr. was targeting 38 weeks, so they would be 34 weeks they should be in great shape. Ours were 35 weeks and one came home with us and the other stayed only a couple of days just to make sure she was gaining weight. Both had healthy lungs and their scores were good. They are almost 3 now.

I know what you are going through so if you need to talk about something, give me a shout. Your babies should be in great shape, just make sure your wife stays relaxed and keep an eye on her BP and how she's feeling. Congrats man.

Yeah with both my son's my wife suffered from preeclampsia and had to be induced early, about a month early each time. They where both strong and healthy by that stage, the doctors where not even concerned by that point. There where other babies in there born much earlier.

I hope it all goes well, both of you rest up, your world is about to be flipped upside down.
