At this very moment, i am sitting in the hospital with him.

He is very jerky, like he is having seizures. His incision is llooking good, he has to wear an O2 mask at night while he is asleep.

Over all, he is doing good, but the road to recovery is going to be a long one.

Its been 2 hrs since he crashed for the 2nd time.

The doctor said he may never get to go home. He will need assisted living conditions. Like in a nursing home. Knowing my grandads wishes, he dont want to go there.

Im to the point right, that if he codes again, just to let him go. Is that wrong of me, i just dont want to see him suffer.

if you are only following his wishes, which is not to live the rest of his life in a nursing home, then you are doing right by him

its hard to see someone loved pass away, but at the the same time it can be better for everyone to let them move on instead of suffering day in and day out

just my thoughts tho, but take it easy bro and spend as much time with him as you can

I agree with Fire, it would be very best to be with him for now...to spend as much time as you can to be with him. if you can talk to him...just keep talking i believe he can still hear you even in sleep. but these days...you have to prepare for everything... everyone passes, all you can do is to pray for him and for you to have that strength to accept the fact that it maybe his time. We have our time my friend, just have strength to accept things like this. My prayers for you..

It is never wrong to allow a man who has lived a good life to rest. That being said, if his wishes, as he may or may not have stated in a DNR (didn't read the entire thread, sorry if this was covered, I am very tired), are to not be revived by extraordinary means, then the choice is pretty clear. We have no choice about whether or not we are born into this world, but we have one choice left to us, our only truly God given right: the right to choose when we leave this world. We all make that choice in our own way.

Just put yourself in his shoes, I know you probably are, which is why this is so very painful. Also, discuss this with the doctors and whatever family you believe are important in his life.

But no, Bandit, there is nothing wrong with not wanting to see a person you love suffer.
I still think I would make a great pope.

There is no DNR, but the docs say that the next time they would have to revive him, it would kill him. His sternum is separating, and the incision is splitting open.

My aunt told me before, and last night; That the good die hard.

Needless to say, i will be giving up my kingdoms in Unity and solo to be with him. Ill be around today, since i am at the hospital.

I will, um... post more if anthing happens.

Thank you for all your support.
