Hopefully he sold it and made some decent money, rather than letting it expire, because it's a three letter domain, and it now links to a domain selling site saying it was sold.

what's that got to do with it? It's hard to get three letter .nu domain, your domains do not go into auction on that site until you have received at least one cash bid for the domain.

just not a big market for .nu domains, thus a lot less interest, thus a lot less money...simple supply and demand
