New thread for the new age. As with the last one:

I had to edit 4-5 posts in one single thread to remove nasty OOC remarks.

If you're going to include an OOC comment in a roleplaying post, do it so that you can include helpful information, apologise for a delay in posting, something like that. It's not an opportunity to bitch and moan. I'll continue to edit such comments out as and when I see them, and if particular people continue using it as a vehicle for foul language then I'll get in touch and explain why this isn't particularly constructive.

If someone posts an OOC comment in a manner which threatens to ruin the atmosphere in a thread, please PM me rather than respond in kind.

Please use Covenant as an opportunity to roleplay between guildmates, faithmates, and with your opponents. Leave the OOC point scoring to the games where it's already ingrained.

Please do not bring issues from the last thread over into this one.

There's an emoticon in there. I think I recall that that used to be against the rules in this forum (in RPs anyway). Did that change?

OOC: I think they dropped all the emoticons, punctuation rules, paragraph counts, and spelling rules on the grounds it was a roleplay game and not a english class or some jazz like that.

(Which was good cause Lots of times I have to do a response post which is nothing more than an eyebrow raise, and ear twich, and shay going "Huh!?")

Well, here we go. Good start on fresh age for everyone. Good to get base set down again.

Rules of BBB for the age

1) Make fair wars
2) If war isn't fair, wait to be hit
3) Possibly negotiate with other GM's, notifying them days in advance before striking ( This promise sticks with FOUL as of now )
4) Speaking with faithmate GM's before making a strike.
5) Appointing AGM to diplomatic issues, and posting, and RP threads.
6) RP more influenced.
7) Any person who views war as unfair after our hit has been talked and approved of, can consult with the AGM of War, about repayment....and we will stick to thy word.
8.) BBB is to be trusted by heathens and everyone. We aren't out to get you.
9) Bran has started a barnabas guild, recruiting for him as we speak.
10) Everyone have fun, keep things clean...no clutter

Yeah I have submitted a barnabas guild because Barnabas needs more players..hell Covenant needs more players. Part of the reason why I started my own guild was that I did not like the hits that BBB made, but that just is a difference in opinion between me and Baine ..nothing against him personally as he's been an alright guy with me so far.

I did not talk to anyone about this and I did not try and take any of the BBB players with because that ain't right.

That being said, I think that you will see a change in the tactics of BBB this age. I look forward to playing with all of you - especially Nagash (I hope he wears the maids outfit).

So anywho, any of you guys and gals who need a home away from home..let me know. If you have any questions hit me up as well.

OOC: I don't know you Blood Bane, but I read a few of your posts in the old OOC and immediatly decided not to deal with you.

My original perception was that you were making a cookie cutter crap guilds/Valid guild.

Reading your guilds rules for this age I'd have to say I'm impressed.
They are pretty damn ambitious. I myself probably couldn't follow them.

I will warn you about #3 however.
The bigger your guild, the bigger the problem for you.
If you run a very large guild, you will get massive backfire from your members.
(Contrary to the reason of the game, the vast majority don't care for RP and play to win)

Rule #3 works best in a small guild where you know everyone personally.
I wouldn't hate if you repealed it later.
It truly is a hard standard to live by.

Just a little heads up on the headache if you go that route

One thing, I will be absent from anyone talking down BBB. We will live up to our rules, and I will not waste my energy to commenting back on insults. You know who you are.

I have not made a kingdom yet, but I was trying to determine if there would be a role play reason good enough to do so. It has been a long time since I've played in Covenant/Maxim/whatever. *grins and pokes Sunny*

I'm not evil, just misunderstood. Have I done anything evil......well I did kick that dog one time but thats neither here nor there. I also stole the blind guys walking stick and took his money from his tin cup. But thats not evil, taking over Gili's lands so I can put up more Hooter's is that so wrong? If it is then I am evil.

I mean if anyone is evil here its Gili I mean look at that icon it screams evil. Mine doesn't at all, mine just wants to come over to your house and make sammiches and cut them with his swords is that so wrong?
