The Founders of Unequivocal Lunacy had launched an attack on the Order of Almighty Fishingrods, together with the Sekhet-Aaru. The war wasn't pretty, but it was fair and both sides lost and gained about equally after the Order had recovered from the shock of the first strike (which admittedly did take them a while).

As this war was approaching it's boiling point a group called the Night Gaurd, a guild under the banner of Barnabas which could not even spell itself correctly, attacked and overran the remaining large kingdoms of the Order of the Almighty Fishingrods, along with a few kingdoms of the Thirteenth Baatorian Legion and the Ministry of Stone.
They claimed that they were doing this "in order to restore balance".

All parties involved were taken aback by this action and all loathed the Night Gaurd for it. FOUL and SA immediatly offered the OAFS a cease fire. The Order took up this offer and started recovering from the war and the backstab.
Meanwhile the Night Gaurd leaders started to commit suicide. But not before they had burned the lands, rendering them useless for at least a few years.

Three remained though. The OAFS, the FOUL and the SA decided that it was time to undertake some action against the remaining (ex-) Night Gaurds. They were joined by Orb Combine, whom might not have been attacked, but were quite angry of the treachery as well.

So it was four guilds against three kingdoms. It was time to make a point. Time to show that such deeds do not go unpunished and that one is not getting thanks for them.

As the troops were deployed to annihilate the three, Nagash was in his tower. He was furious.

" What did Barnabas say about this all? Well? Nothing!! He has not spoken a single word!! "

He deployed nine assassins to murder Barnabas, just to show his malcontent. The nine would probably be caught, but that was not the point. There had been betrayal in his ranks, and the idiot had kept his silence. If it wasn't for the other guilds following him, Nagash would take direct action against Barnabas...

The air was cold as Nether stalked the field of battle. Screams of pain echoed loudly as, the crows began to pick at those wounded but still alive. A fit of laughter died in the young demon's throat as he stepped on the head of one of his own wounded soldiers. The wounded in his mind were useless. Nothing more than food for the survivors and the carrien that cleaned the fields afterwards.

The battle was swift, his wrath unmerciful. The banners of Barnabas that stood before him sickened him. A hatred never before known coarsed through his viens as he slaughtered one oaf after another. Thier rods were no longer of any use now. This brought a twiseted smile to the young demon's face. Long had he fought against the order, under different banners diferent faiths. As he found himself fighting along side them he was sickened. He couldn't help but notice the slight weakness' in thier defences. Couldn't help but notice how he would rend them from limb to limb so easily. How he could bath in thier blood and offer thier flesh to her. Long had it been since she had left. Like a light mist quickl blown away into the night sky.

He would kill again this night, and the next. His wrath would not be limited to the red banners of Barnabas, but he would take his fight to everyone of faith.

Faith

That word churned Nether's insides as fires of hatred and animosity exploded in his chest. He had no faith now. He had only his hands, and his lust for death.
