She nodded. Though she did't yet want to get up, after gotten comfertable. She began to wonder if the river valley had a magic of it's own at moments.

In a moment. I don't want to get up just yet.

Yet again it seamed that those who could seel the cliffs were suprised. They knew their lady to go to the cliffs little.

He nodded, silently as he watched the scene before him. To his sight, it was almost as if a faint green light filled it all. The life of nature. Wrought by proud and strong hands.

Then his eyes went up to Yang, who circled close. Was this why his soulspirit had brought him here. To learn this woman. He wondered.

Then he pressed his head against hers and once more linked. This time less deep. Just sharing a feeling of warmth and safety. For she seemed in need of those.

She closed her eyes, letting the feelings fill her. It was a comfert she had not expected, but she could grow accustom to. She had wondered for a long time if the river valley had something deeper within it, perhaps it did. It seamed to bring a sense of peace within the land.

She opened her eyes again. We should probably be going. I don't want dinner to be cold.

He nodded as he got up, brushing his lips against her ear for a moment. Then helping her to stand up.

Yes it would be a shame.

Walking back off the path he followed her to the river. And then beyond.

She made a stop inside the cavern to get the horses first, letting them walk with her until a servent took them back to the stables. It was a brisk walk, but a pleasent one with the green grass brushing around their feet. Her elder counsel was waiting outside the dock as an aray of candles were lit inside the boat. The last shade fell once they entered it.

A small feast was set toward the north end of the boat. On a lower level toward the south end sat two tall chairs and a platform looking outward. In the center was an inlaid area of soft foam with pillows and silks. She smiled at that and went toward the food that was prepared. There was a vast aray of meats, both imported and raised herein, fruits, and fresh greens. Though there was one dish covered, which she knew was the dessert. She also knew the reason it was covered, it was laced in something to make the evening last longer after dinner. She laughed a moment, it seamed that some people were determind to make her use all of her assets to convince him. She also remembered that it was only prepared by the eldest of the chefs.

She took a seat on the side of the table that was set and took some of the pork that was offered, pushing back a feeling of nausea as she began her meal. It was far more filling in truth than she had expected, or exprienced a meal to be in a long time. There was also a bottle of chilled wine, which she knew she was best not to embibe in.

Would you like some wine?

He nodded offering his glass to be filled. He could see her look at the dish for a moment and noticed her laughter. His doves strangely absent for once, almost if they wished to give them their privacy.

I would love to.

He watched her attentively. The image of the bathing room came to his mind. Yet it had been seen through the eyes of a dove. Which were far from being of the same quality of those of a man.

She poured him the glass and set it before him, replacing the coark as she got a glass of water for herself. Even for a special evening she couldn't forget about many things. She was quick to finish her first helping of the pork, but chose something different for a second, some mixed greens and fruits. She knew that despite how hungry she was, she would not be likely to try all of what her cooks had prepared.

He ate slowly first taking a few bites from the pork. Then taking a few bites from different fruits. Enjoying the strange mixture of exotic tastes.

Finally his platter empty, he refilled. This time only with fruits. Unused to eat much. And having a preferance for that which came from nature. As he ate a few fruits from the desert.

His eyes often returning to his host. As he finally put his fork down. Indicating he was done.

She finished her second plate and set her own fork down. It had been far more sastifing that the scraps she had to get by on while she had returned home.

She smiled to him a moment, shifting both of their platters out for some fresh ones that were smaller in size. She then drew the covered platter out, opening it to reval a few choices. Those being a rich chocolate moose, light but filling, and something of baked apples that was a treat from her chef when they had enough to get it done. From the scent alone, the spices were ment to add to the mood. She chose a little of each to try, having never enjoyed the chocolate moose since it was only made for special occasions.

It smelled dilicious, he could distinguish some special herbs in the odor. But could not pinpoint on their exact nature.

Off course, he could have a guess. As he watched Adriana serving herself. Then he served him to. Taking a bit from each. Then instead of going to sit at his spot. He sat down beside Adriana.

Using a small spoon he dug some of the mouse, and brought it up to her lips. Sliding it in letting her take the first taste.

She closed her eyes a moment, tasting the rich flavor. It was divine, and she understood why it wasn't served often. She in turn took a little of the moose herself and brought to to his lips, wanting to offer to him what he had her.

He suckled the mouse softly. It was unlike anything he had ever eaten. Heavenlike in a way. As he felt the spices invade his mouth as he took the taste in. Finally opening his eyes he looked at her.

Standing up he looked around. Seeing a door to another part of the boat, he guessed it was where the dinner was suposed to end. Walking up to it he stepped through the door without looking back.

She smiled softly and took another bite herself. Then drew into the room, following him. She took the remainder of the chocolate moose with her. As the sun faded from the desert sands, she used her own methods of trying to convince them. It wan't until later that evening that they emerged from the boat, seeing that the feast had been cleared discreatly in the meantime. Her task as it seamed had been completed. Now a greater task was to be done, for she expected that they would be married by this time the next day if her advisors had their way. And so it was done and all was well.
