it's obvious that some of its members need educating on what a sorc kill entails.

i.e., if the kingdom is dead, it doesn't matter how many structures it has left, lmao

Maybe its that not many people have the turns or temples yet necessary for a sorcekill(i.e. low NW costing more turns per sorce) so it might be more prudent to take your buildings away keeping you from having a decent trainrate/income making using your turns hurt a little more. Not having the income/trainrate to generate as much cash keeps you from rehiring and training as much the next turn cycle. So it makes you work a little harder to hit any Mum/TNE/Darkhorse. With a crappy economy you'll spend the turns trying to ID and refort rather than breaking top kingdoms. When the time comes to attempt a sorcekill, if you're online, you can spend the turns to ID and get peasants back and risk dissenting troops since it will cost you an assload of cash with a vast distance between your I/E ratio. So you can spend the turns saving that kingdom from a sorcekill but that leaves you more vulnerable as a war option. And no I'm not sorcind you. I don't have the temps. Just shedding some light on why someone might be using the top spell. Just for those who might think I am giving away some secret plan, Bundes has been doing this for a long time and knows the options we would take in trying to take him down. He's just mocking because he knows his days are numbered.

my income - 5.9mil, now down to 2.7mil - is almost entirely due to my peasants, not my 1800 ghs/1800 hovels. you could have done 1 sorc to confirm my built land. i had, what, 28k?

and as to my train rate - even if you guys didn't sorc down my buildings, i wouldn't have downsized any of my troops or even attacked you guys.

it would have been easy to note that i spent a lot of turns fluffing up with my last turnset. i normally run a networth somewhere between 5.5mil-6mil. when you see me jump up to 10.2mil nw, it is obvious that i am trying to fluff up before the age ends.

i had 96k scum, 72k dragons. it cost me roughly 800mil cash to fluff up with that. i only had ~390mil remaining. no way would i have downsized

and actually, killing my peasants drops my income far more than destroying my meagre ghs/hovels.

so yeah, whichever kingdoms were doing the 150-elan sorcs were pretty stupid. it was a waste of turns.
