What do the green "G"s mean and the red "V"s that are by your military forces' numbers?

you can not delete the other topics but you can ask more than one question per thread
the g means green troops totally untrained
the v means veteren or partially trained
there is an e as well it is for elite or level 5 trained troops
always go for the Elite troops
in the training screen you upgrade their training level
in the Downsize screen you can fire troops
most people fire the troops in order to build then rehire them and train them while you wait for more turns

How can I make money fast?

with all your troops downsized
go to sorcery screen and inspire devotion
depending and your race will depend on what the spell is called
but is at the bottom of the list of available spells
