The future of Canon & TB (Links to monarchygame.com)

A year or so ago, Brian and I decided to let canon die. We never intended to kill the Tempers Ball community though. Decae was kind enough to keep the site going, but in the end the sad fact is that this community is no longer a gaming community. But a long standing group of friends who once played a game together.

Souldemon, Gili and I were chatting last night about the sudden announcement of the sites closure. We decided to contact Decae and see if he would pass the domain over to us. We decided to not post anything until we had heard something back from Dustin, but I have just spoken with him over AIM.

Canon can no longer thrive in this community, but this community should not have to change or die. Therefore, the evernight.com domain will remain an active memorable link to tie the past together, and Tempers Ball will remain. However, Canon will no longer be a part of Tempers Ball, nor the evernight domain.

I cannot promise that the game will remain in some form. But it is likley that we will create a new site with new gaming community and a few additional rules, that is - in some ways - more moderated than TB. That site would include Canon/Monarchy and the Gods you know and love.

The evernight.com landing page will probably include a link to new site(s) made by admin and staff past and present, which will include any new site that takes on the Monarchy/Canon legacy. I also cannot promise that you will see any 'upgrades' to the game, but you never know.

I'm not sure if Dustin (Decae), Brian (Demmy) or James (Gili) will post in here, but feel free to comment if you so wish
